Established in 1977, the Children's Folklore Review is a digital, open-access publication of the Children's Folklore Section of the American Folklore Society. The journal regularly publishes articles on all aspects of children's traditions, including oral, customary, and material culture, as well as reviews of films, books, and exhibits. In addition, Children's Folklore Review will consider articles dealing with children's folklore in literature, education, popular culture, internet culture, play studies, and similar topics.
