2018 Annual Meeting
Share |

The Society's 130th Annual Meeting took place October 17-20, 2018, at the Buffalo Niagara County Convention Center, in Buffalo, New York, with guest rooms at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. The theme for the meeting, on which presentations were encouraged but not required, was “No Illusions, No Exclusions.”

After the Meeting

See 2018 Annual Meeting: News and Announcements for a round up of all meeting related news.

Plenary and section-sponsored lectures, oral histories and professional development sessions were videotaped. Links to the recordings will be posted here when they are available.

Program

In summary, here are all your alternatives for accessing the 2018 meeting program:

  • A print program book and print program addendum were distributed at the meeting registration desk. We recommend that you also check the online program addendum for program changes that emerged after October 12.
  • Read a pdf of the print book and check the online program addendum for late-breaking changes.
  • Our service provider delivered the conference app on October 14, too late to be given thorough review. See more about the app, including how to get it, in the AFS Review.
  • The online program has all the content of the print program book in an interactive digital format that can be accessed in any web browser on any device; this is the best, single source of complete, current program information. The online program included all late-breaking changes, with the full schedule and abstracts, indexes, search, and integration with users' calendars. See more about the online program in the AFS Review.
