By Simon Bronner —

It gives me great pleasure and pride to announce that Mothers in the Jewish Cultural Imagination, edited by Marjorie Lehman, Jane Kanarek, and Simon J. Bronner (Liverpool University Press, 2017), volume 5 in the Jewish Cultural Studies Series (Littman Library of Jewish Civilization) sponsored by the Jewish Folklore and Ethnology Section of the American Folklore Society has been named a finalist in the National Jewish Book Awards, Women's Studies category, given by the Jewish Book Council. We are grateful for this honor, the second time that a book in the series has been named a finalist.

All dues-paying members of the AFS Jewish Folklore and Ethnology Section receive the Jewish Cultural Studies publications; subscribe now to receive future issues.
