The Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation, located in Powell, Wyoming, seeks a motivated archivist to help establish the Heart Mountain Archives Center. This professionally-trained project archivist will organize, catalog and preserve the holdings of the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center, as well as assist with interpretation of these materials. Proven archival or curatorial experience is required along with a strong attention to detail, an ability to work independently and a fluency with technology. Must have some knowledge of Japanese American confinement during WWII, as well as an understanding of the principles of archival management in a facility open to the public. This is a two-year, full-time position. Master’s Degree in related field is preferred.
