Scholarships Offered for Cultural Heritage Information Management at Catholic University of America

The School of Library and Information Science of The Catholic University of America is accepting scholarship applications for students of its Cultural Heritage Information Management program. The school was awarded a Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program grant by the Institute of Museum and Library Services to support the scholarships. The grant will provide support for 17 CHIM students starting in spring 2013. The program aims to develop student competencies in the organization and management of the rich resources and collections of cultural institutions through the use of digital technologies. Students will develop proficiency in designing information services and outreach programs to promote the appreciation and use of cultural heritage resources and collections. Application deadline is October 25, 2012.
