Anthropology and Archaeology Resource Network to Launch Fall 2012

Wednesday, May 2, 2012   (0 Comments)
The American Anthropological Association has recently announced that it has finalized plans to create the Anthropology and Archaeology Resource Network (AARN), an online tool to support the distribution of gray literature between scholars. According to AAA, "The AARN will give anthropology scholars access to distribute their technical reports, gray literature, preprints, and other scholarly contributions that might not have other outlets to become widely accessible and distributed across disciplines. The goals of the network are to help anthropological ideas and data be widely distributed." This service will become available to AAA members by fall. More details will be posted on the AAA website as they become available.
