2020 AFS Virtual Annual Meeting Conference Platform Now Accessible

The 2020 AFS Virtual Annual Meeting is right around the corner! We’re looking forward to an exciting live program; see the AFS Review for some highlights. Remember, if you must miss some live sessions, many paper panels and plenary addresses will be recorded so that you can access them asynchronously through December 31.

You can now see the conference platform that we will use to access live and recorded sessions. We’re still refining the look and content and incorporating late change requests, so the schedule will change in the days before the meeting.

  1. The first time that you visit the conference platform, you will see a “Login with AFS” button; click it.
  2. You will be prompted to enter the email address that you used when you registered for the meeting. You should see a “Success” pop-up message telling you to check your email.
  3. Check your email for a confirmation message with the link to protected content, like the schedule.
  4. The platform will remember you as long as you stay signed in.
  5. Try this out as soon as possible, and contact if you have any trouble.

Not clear? Watch this brief and silly video tutorial that demonstrates the sequence, from current Executive Director Jessica Turner and retired Executive Director Tim Lloyd. Thanks, Tim, for your help!

You can also still view the online preliminary program, which we will strive to keep up to date, without signing in. However, you will need the conference platform above to access sessions.

Not registered? "Pay what you can" rates are available for those in precarious financial situations. Be sure to log in to your AFS account to receive your member discount on registration. Register today!
