If you submitted a proposals by March 31 for an in-person meeting in Tulsa, you should have received an email on June 30 about the Review Committee’s decision about your proposal with respect to this year's planned virtual gathering.

Now we’re asking for your decision about how you would like to adapt to the changed circumstances! We need to hear from you by July 15 so that we can take the next steps in preparing the virtual meeting program. Please refer to the instructions listed in your email to share your preferences. We would appreciate your prompt response!

If you did not receive that email, or have any other questions or concerns about the proposal acceptances, contact AFS staff at americanfolkloresociety@gmail.com

In the upcoming weeks, AFS will also be releasing new information relating to the virtual format of the conference along with guides to the best practices for participating in the virtual meeting.
