CFP: Nineteenth International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities

The New Directions in the Humanities Research Network is pleased to announce the call for papers for the Nineteenth International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities, held June 30–July 2, 2021 at Complutense University of Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

The organizers invite proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, colloquia, focused discussions, innovation showcases, virtual posters, or virtual lightning talks.

The conference welcomes research addressing the 2021 special focus, "Critical Thinking, Soft Skills, and Technology," and the following annual themes:

  • Critical cultural studies
  • Communication and linguistics studies
  • Literary humanities
  • Civic, political, and community studies
  • Past and present in the humanistic education

November 30, 2020 is the deadline for proposal submission.
