The University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) hosts a podcast series that features its graduate students alongside graduate students from other programs, undergraduate archive interns and experts on the episode's topic, centering around themes and topics of relevance to folklorists.

The series now has episodes with three leading folklorists:

  • Richard Bauman, in conversation with Charles Briggs, discusses his career and his vision of the field;
  • Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is interviewed by graduate students Molly Robinson and Leah Simon about Alan Dundes as her mentor, her own work, and her perspectives on folklore studies and research on museums, heritage, and tourism.

Also, last year, the podcast hosts were able to sit down with John McDowell and have a conversation about Américo Paredes as a mentor and his own work on corridos.
