Memoriamedia Review invites submissions of papers, videos, and e-exhibitions for their e-journal, to be released in December. Authors must submit unpublished materials with the theme of Digital Technologies and Intangible Cultural Heritage by October 10.

Areas of interests related to Digital Technologies and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) include:

  • Digital technologies, ICH, video, sound and image records;
  • Digital technologies, ICH, 3D, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR);
  • Digital Technologies, PCI, streaming, social media and networking;
  • Identification and awareness of ICH significance;
  • Research, documentation and inventory of ICH;
  • Transmission (formal and informal) of ICH;
  • Education, training and capacity building on ICH;
  • Dissemination, information and promotion of ICH;
  • Planning, financing and agency in safeguarding ICH;
  • Nomination files and inscription in the ICH UNESCO’s lists;
  • Digital technologies, ICH and sustainable development;
  • Digital technologies, ICH and ethical issues

All entries will be peer-reviewed by editors and two members of the editorial board. All submissions are reviewed based on their relevance, originality, and clearness.

Papers must be submitted in the format detailed below:

  • Up to 5000 words;
  • In a word file (.doc or .docx) or in plaint text (.txt) that is up to four megabytes;
  • Written in English (or if a Portuguese version is submitted, an English version must also be presented)

Videos and e-Exhibitions must be submitted in the format detailed below:

  • Up to ten-minute video;
  • Link to the video with reserved access on either YouTube or Vimeo; or link to PowerPoint file (.ppt or pptx) or other format for editors’ consideration that is up to four megabytes;
  • Subtitled or written in English with up to 5000 words in subtitles which must be sent in .doc, .docx, or .txt file
