Bill Ferris and Dust-to-Digital Team Win Two GRAMMY Awards for Best Historical Album and Album Notes

Bill Ferris, UNC professor emeritus, won two GRAMMY Awards on Sunday for Voices of Mississippi: Artists and Musicians Documented by William Ferris.” “Voices” won Best Historical Album and Best Album Notes. This four-disc box from Ferris’ archive was produced by Dust-to-Digital team April Ledbetter and Steven Lance Ledbetter. David Evans wrote the liner notes in the accompanying 120-page hardback book.
