Jim Leary and Bill Ferris’ Work Nominated for 61st GRAMMY Awards

The nominations for the 61st GRAMMY Awards include the work of folklorists Jim Leary and Bill Ferris. The Voices of Mississippi: Artists and Musicians Documented by William Ferris box set was nominated for “Best Album Notes” and “Best Historical Album.” Jim Leary’s liner notes for Alpine Dreaming: The Helvetia Records Story, 1920–1924 have been nominated for “Best Album Notes.” The nominations from the GRAMMY website are listed below:
