Query about Estonian “Pisu Hand” and Native Lore on Strange Creatures in Canada

I have two questions if anyone knows....

1. When I was a kid my mom who was Estonian and Finnish would tell me if we saw spooky mysterious lights in the evening- that they were mythical beings known as "pisu hand" sounds like beezu hand––has anyone heard of what folklore this is?

2. I live in Canada. I was driving home from a camp late at night and on the road I encountered a strange animal-like creature that was solid black, had a shimmering slick fur/skin in my car headlights... squatted/ran cat-like and extremely fast, faster than any animal I have seen including lynx which it was about the size of. It was a predator and I was its prey––it tried to get into my car––it had jumped fearlessly on my car––sat on my hood––about two and a half feet tall as it squatted... and it looked at me with distinctly yellow eyes that were intelligent like orangutan, and an odd mouth - doglike.... have you heard of any Indian/native lore of such a thing? It was terrifying and just for the record––I was not drinking or doing any drugs––I was an employee of the camp.

Thanks for any help,

Dee Eller
