The Modern Language Association of America's MLA International Bibliography will once again staff a table in the exhibit room at the AFS Annual Meeting in Buffalo, New York, October 17–20, 2018, after last year's successful stint in Minneapolis. The Bibliography had not sent a representative to the meeting in many years, but Greg Grazevich, Associate Director of Bibliographic Information Services and Senior Thesaurus Editor, was tapped to attend in 2017 and is excited to return this year.

"I was thrilled to have the opportunity to talk to folklorists about their research and how the Bibliography can open scholarly resources to them in their fields of study," said Grazevich. "This year will be even more engaging as I'll have the opportunity to present the Bibliography as an essential resource for folklorists as part of a panel sponsored by the Archives and Libraries Section, 04-12 “Beyond the Field: Library and Archive Research Tools for Folklorists” [Friday, October 19, 8–10 AM, Room 107]. I'll be showcasing our new full text product in partnership with EBSCO, as well as our tutorial videos and free online course. In addition, I'll present some search strategies tailored to folklore researchers' needs, allowing scholars to zero in on publications most relevant to their research."

Attendees are welcome to stop by the Bibliography's exhibit table, where they will be able to search the MLAIB for topics of interest, make sure their publications are included in the Bibliography, learn about how to contribute citations to the database as a field biblographer, and sign up for an ORCID identifier. Folklorists are welcome to email Greg Grazevich with questions about using the MLAIB in their research.
