Mintzi Martínez-Rivera Accepts Tenure-track Position in Anthropology at Providence College

Dr. Mintzi A. Martínez-Rivera (dual PhD in Folklore and Anthropology, Indiana University ’14) recently accepted a tenure-track position in Anthropology at Providence College in Rhode Island. She will work with colleagues across campus to help rebuild the program of study in anthropology. A lifetime AFS member, Dr. Martínez-Rivera was a winner of the 2017 AFS Gerald L. Davis Travel Grant and is currently co-editing the volume Critical Folkloristics: Critical and Ethical Folkloristics for the 21st Century with Dr. Solimar Otero (LSU).
