South Arts is offering Traditional Arts Touring (TAT) Grants in the amounts of $1,000–5,000 to eligible nonprofits, official units of government, and educational agencies in support of partnerships between local traditional artists or ensembles and scholars or folklorists.

South Arts primarily grants to performing arts organizations, and TAT Grants are designed to support traditional arts programming presented by organizations (libraries, museums, folklore societies, community centers, local festivals, etc.) with whom South Arts has not yet had the opportunity to work.

These funds support short residences of Southern traditional artists (all genres) in states other than where the artist/ensemble resides.

The deadline for grant application is December 4, 2017.
