2017 AFS Meeting Events Will Be Recorded and Live-Streamed

Every year since 2004, AFS has videotaped selected annual meeting special sessions that become available in the AFS Collection in IUScholarWorks and on our YouTube Channel in the weeks after the meeting.

This year, the two plenary lectures will also be available to watch live at

  • Francis Lee Utley Lecture: Elliott Oring, "Back to the Future: Questions for Theory in the 21st Century," Friday, October 20, 4:15-5:15 pm CDT (UTC-5)

  • AFS Presidential Lecture: Kay Turner, "The Witch in Flight," Saturday, October 21, 6:00-7:00 pm CDT (UTC-5)

Please bear in mind that because of preceding events these sessions may start a little late.
