Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Features Folklore Studies

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation recently published online an interview with folklorist and historic preservation specialist Laurie Sommers, which included a discussion of AFS's Working Group in Historic Preservation. In the interview, Sommers makes a case to the historic preservation field for what folklorists can contribute to historic preservation.
