Description & Details

The State of New Mexico is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Librarian/Archivist at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Museum of International Folk Art requires a senior librarian to direct all aspects of operation for the Bartlett Library, a specialized collection and archive including purchase, catalog and accession of all books, periodicals, field research notes, slides, negatives and photographs. The senior librarian also provides electronic access to the collection through databases and assists museum staff, library patrons, docents and educators with reference and research requests and inter-library loans.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association (or recognized by the appropriate body of another country) with two (2) years experience in performing and providing advanced library technical operations, effective library and information services, plus cataloging experience and managerial experience.
