The National Park Service is seeking a well-qualified cultural resource professional or individual with project management experience and knowledge of cultural resource issues to serve as principle assistant to the Associate Director for Cultural Resources, Partnerships and Science, for the coordination and development of policies, standards, and programs pertaining to the preservation and management of cultural resources. The incumbent will serve as a key advisor to the Associate Director and other senior Directorate officials, and help manage special studies, projects, and other assignments as directed by the Associate Director. The ideal candidate is a cultural resource professional or project manager with cultural resource management experience, with excellent oral and written communication skills, who thrives working in a team environment but is also capable of working independently; enjoys exciting high-paced environments; and excels at coordinating teams.
