Women Documenting the World

The American Folklife Center is hosting an event on Thursday, September 26 to launch its multi-year initiative to highlight, explore, and celebrate the contributions of women as ethnographic fieldworkers and scholars. This event, Women Documenting the World: Women as Folklorists, Ethnomusicologists & Fieldworkers, is a day-long program of talks, interviews, and discussions.

This free event will be held from 9:30am to 5pm on Thursday, September 26,2019 at the Mary Pickford Theater in the James Madison Building.
