This is the second part of a two-webinar series which will feature presentations and a Q&A featuring indigenous experts and representatives from the US Patent and Trademark Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), geared especially to indigenous leaders, lawyers, and community members. The webinars will also introduce WIPO’s Intergovernmental Process to address Intellectual Property and Traditional Knowledge, Traditional Cultural Expressions, and Genetic Resources, and Indigenous Peoples’ own laws, customs, and traditions.
