OTHER RESOURCES

Please use and publicize the new CARTS artist residency with NEA Heritage Fellow Eva Castellanoz, a master corona maker. Students may interview Eva online and learn about her life in Mexico, Texas, and Oregon as well as how to make wax flowers and much more, from migrant farmers and sugar beets to quinceañeras. Makalé Faber, our CARTS media maven, developed extensive activities and compelling information and resources.

The 2003 CARTS Catalog will be out soon. New entries are already in the online Catalog at www.carts.org. For a hard copy, send snail mail address to Hiroko Kazama, hkazama@citylore.org.
