AFS NewsThe AFS published this hard-copy newsletter, which contained timely information about and for the field of folklore and was a primary means by which American Folklore Society members received information about the Society’s annual meeting and elections, as well as other important AFS business, until the end of 2008. Back issues of the AFS News from 1997 through 2008 are available through the members-only part of this site. Please see here for details on becoming a member of AFS. In 2010, AFS News content will begin appearing on the AFS web site. To fill the gap, during 2009 the Society is distributing monthly online news bulletins. |
