AFSNews

Published electronically four times a year and posted on the AFS web site, the AFSNews contains timely information about and for the field of folklore. It is also a primary means by which American Folklore Society members receive information about the Society’s annual meeting and elections, as well as other important AFS business.

We prefer to receive materials for the AFSNews in electronic form. Please send materials, either as a Word attachment or pasted into an e-mail, to AFS Associate Director Maria Teresa Agozzino. Issues are published at the beginning of February, May, August, and November each year. The deadline for each issue is two weeks before the publication date (e.g., January 15 is the deadline for the February issue).
