|Instructions for Submitting an Individual Paper Presentation|
We will accept proposals for individual papers on any focused topic that relates to folklore. The program committee will group accepted papers into panels. There are two options for the length of individual papers this year:
1) short papers are allotted approximately 20 minutes: 10 minutes to read the paper and approximately 10 minutes for discussion;
2) long papers are allotted 30 minutes: 20 minutes to read the paper and 10 minutes for discussion. Panels with short papers may afford additional time for discussion.
3) the proposal form includes an "Either 10 or 20-minute paper" option for those who don't have a distinct preference. If you choose this option, you will give the program committee more alternatives for grouping individual proposals into meaningful panels. If you are given a short paper slot, you will be notified by email.
