Erie Art Museum Offering Paid Internship in Public Folklore to Recent College Graduate

Every year the Erie Art Museum hosts one intern for a full-time internship for 12 weeks starting sometime between September and January. This internship can be in either exhibition development, museum education, or public folklore. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and be willing to relocate to Erie for the duration of the internship. The Cheteyan Scholar is a paid internship in which the recipient will receive a stipend of $2,500. Applications are due by May 1, 2014. Download the application for more information. 

This annual internship provides a recent college graduate the opportunity to gain professional experience within a nationally known museum. This three-month, paid internship provides firsthand experience working under the guidance of museum professionals with decades of experience in exhibit design, arts education, and public folklore.
