The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites nominations and applications for the position of Director of the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, with appointment beginning spring or summer of 2014.

Leading the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum into its next phase of growth, the Director will create and implement the vision for the museum and its programs that honor social reformer Jane Addams, the first American woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, and her colleagues whose work changed the lives of their immigrant neighbors as well as national and international public policy. This internationally-known museum is part of the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts, and represents Jane Addams’s and the Hull-House settlement’s commitments to social change, public service and education.
