New Limit on Number of Presentations at AFS 2013 Annual Meeting

Starting with the upcoming AFS Annual Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island, October 16-19, 2013, AFS will enforce stricter limits on the number of presentations by any one participant.
This year, participants may present only once at the Annual Meeting. Exceptions will be made
only for those who will serve as chair or discussant for one other
session. No one may participate in more than two sessions altogether.
In years past, participants were allowed to participate in Forums in addition to presenting a paper, or to participate in two Forums; as of 2013, this will not be the case.
We hope that this stricter interpretation of long-standing AFS limits on the number of presentations will allow more people to participate in our perennially crowded program.
