The AFS, Journal of American Folklore editors Thomas A. DuBois and James P. Leary, and the Journals Division of the University of Illinois Press are happy to announce the debut of the Journal of American Folklore multimedia resources website, which will be the permanent home for audio, still image, and moving image materials that illustrate and supplement Journal contributions.

Its URL is jaf.press.illinois.edu (no http://, no www.).

The site presently contains multimedia materials from JAF 125:496 (Spring 2012): four audio files illustrating Fei-Wen Liu's article "Expressive Depths: Performance of Bridal Lamentation in Rural South China," and four still image files illustrating Danusha Goska's essay "On Witold Masznicz's 'Spadajaca Gwiazda' (Falling Star)." Over time, it will become a major resource of audio and visual materials supporting and evidencing published work in our field.

The Executive Board of AFS sends its thanks and congratulations to DuBois and Leary, to the JAF editorial office staff, and to Paul Arroyo and the University of Illinois Press Journals Division staff for their work to create this resource.
