A list of books published in the last five years in folklore and allied fields can now be found on the editable Recent Books page in the Folklore Wiki, a part of the Folklore Commons on the AFS website. The list is not complete, but it represents a notable start toward a comprehensive bibliography of recent work in the field.
To keep this list complete, current and correct, we depend on you. We strongly encourage you to add your own past or forthcoming titles or favorites. For help editing the page, see "Custom Pages" in FAQ.
Many thanks to Gregory Hansen, Journal of American Folklore Book Review Editor, and Bekalu Kifle of Arkansas State University for their work preparing this initial draft.
The books you add here in the Comments section will not be added to the list. You have to sign in, then go to the page in the Folklore Wiki at http://www.afsnet.org/?page=RecentBooks and "edit this page." See FAQ for instructions for using the editing tools. If you have trouble, or are not an AFS or web-only member, email us at AmericanFolkloreSociety@gmail.com.
