American Folklife Center Awards Lomax Fellowship to Judith Cohen

The American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress is pleased to announce that Judith Cohen, professor of ethnomusicology at York University in Toronto, Canada, has been awarded The Alan Lomax Fellowship in Folklife Studies from the John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress. Cohen will be in residence in Washington, DC between April and September 2011. She will be working with collections related to Spanish traditional music gathered by Alan Lomax in Spain during the 1950s.
