C. Scott Littleton, 1933-2010

Folklorist and anthropologist C. Scott Littleton, emeritus of Occidental College in Los Angeles, passed away on November 25, 2010. His Wikipedia page notes research interests in "comparative Indo-European mythology and folklore, the origin of the legends of King Arthur and the Holy Grail, and Japanese culture, with an emphasis on Shinto. In recent years he has also researched the occult and the paranormal, especially the UFO phenomneon." His personal page on the Occidental web site is http://faculty.oxy.edu/yokatta/.
