Professor of English. Tenure-track position, beginning Fall 2012.
Folklore studies, with secondary fields oriented toward cultural studies
and/or digital humanities topics and methods. The department offers the
B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in English, with concentrations in Folklore
Studies, Literary Studies, Rhetoric, Creative Writing, and Linguistics.
teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in folklore, folklore and
literature, and literature; serving on M.A. and Ph.D. committees;
directing theses and dissertations; departmental service (e.g.,
advising, departmental and university committees). Continued publishing
in field and other duties associated with holding a university position.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Folklore Studies or in affiliated field with a
concentration in folklore studies required, record of professional
activities and publications, teaching experience.
