Carole Carpenter, 1944–2017

Carole Carpenter, a renowned children studies scholar and founder of the York University Children's Studies program, has died at the age of 73.

Her major publications include Many Voices: A Study of Folklore Activities in Canada and Their Role in Canadian Culture (1979), numerous articles, and the internationally published children's book Sandy’s Incredible Shrinking Footprint (2010).
