The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has begun posting their video tributes for the 2017 NEA National Heritage Fellows. These tributes were produced this year with the help of folklorists and staff at statewide folklife programs, located at state arts agencies and non-profit organizations. Video tributes for the other six 2017 National Heritage Fellows will be posted to the NEA website as they become available.

Established by Congress in 1965, the National Endowment for the Arts is the independent federal agency whose funding and support gives Americans the opportunity to participate in the arts, exercise their imaginations, and develop their creative capacities.
