The John D. Calandra Italian American Institute, Queens College (CUNY), is looking for an intern to help inventory a scholar's research material for possible donation to an archive. Items include but are not limited to audio recordings in different formats (reel-to-reel, cassette, digital), photographs (slides, B/W negatives and prints, digital), video (VHS, digital), field notes, newspaper clippings, and ephemera (posters, flyers, brochures, T-shirts). The intern will work in collaboration with said scholar at the Calandra Institute in midtown Manhattan. Work may involve off-site visits.

Hours are flexible to accommodate the intern's schedule. Library science background with experience in archival processing preferred.

NOTA BENE: The internship is unpaid, and it is the intern's responsibility to make arrangements for receiving course credit with his or her university.
