Registration is now open for the Digital Folk conference at the University of Sheffield, April 19, 2017. To register for the event, visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/digital-folk-conference-tickets-30949469697

This free one-day conference will explore the practices, cohesions or frictions that can arise when folk and traditional arts come into contact with digital technologies.

Given its close proximity to the 2017 British Forum of Ethnomusicology conference, which begins on 20th April, we hope that some delegates might wish to attend both events. Registration for the BFE conference can be found here: http://onlineshop.shef.ac.uk/conferences-events/faculty-of-arts-and-humanities/music/bfe-2017-annual-conference-registration.
