Northeastern University Accepting Applications for Visiting Assistant Professor of Music

Northeastern University's Department of Music announces a search for a Visiting Assistant Professor (one-year appointment, 2016-2017 academic year) with a background and research interests in music of the African diaspora and other musical traditions around the globe, engaged from a broadly ethnographic and cross-disciplinary perspective. The visiting faculty member will be asked to teach a load of three classes per semester.

The successful applicant will have a doctorate or related terminal degree in a music discipline related to the above-mentioned fields of inquiry.
