Vermont Folklife Center to Offer Cultural Sustainability Workshop Series

The Vermont Folklife Center in Middlebury, VT, announces its 2016 Cultural Sustainability Institute Workshop Series.

In addition to its long-standing workshops on oral history interviewing and audio field recording, this year the Center will also offer three new workshops: “Documentary Video Production,” “Storytelling for Social Change” and “Minimal Resource Filmmaking.”

Oral History and the Art of the Interview – Friday, April 22, 2016

Recording Audio for Ethnography, Oral History and Digital Storytelling – Saturday, May 21, 2016

Documentary Video Production – Friday, June 3, 2016

Storytelling for Social Change – Saturday, June 11, 2016

Minimal Resource Filmmaking – Friday, June 24, 2016

All workshops are held from 10am-4pm at our headquarters in Middlebury, VT. Tuition for each workshop is $95.00.
