The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation is accepting applications for the position of Program Officer in Scholarly Communications. The incumbent cultivates, mentors, and supervises program staff; meets regularly with leaders in the field; invites and evaluates proposals; prepares grant recommendations; manages budgets; and participates in policy discussions. Requirements for the position include an advanced academic degree (PhD or equivalent); several years of teaching and research experience in higher education; and familiarity with scholarly communications, its history and current concerns.
