AFS Welcomes Proposals for Alternative Presentation Formats

A number of respondents to recent meeting and member surveys express the desire for a wider range of alternatives to the standard paper panel at upcoming meetings; meeting participants would like to see more media and diamond sessions in particular, and experimentation in general.

However, the variety of presentation formats is determined by the proposals that are submitted; in 2015, only two films and one diamond session were proposed.

We encourage you to "be the change you want to see," and submit alternative presentations for 2016. For best results, pre-organized sessions must fit within a two-hour time block, and require minimal room set-up changes. Please contact Lorraine Walsh Cashman at lcashman@indiana.edu if you would like to propose something other than a standard presentation format.
