From Wisconsin to Mexico, California to Georgia, find training opportunities in folk arts, folklife, anthropology, and oral history in the annual Local Learning roster. Download at www.locallearningnetwork.org. Educators may learn fieldwork, study with traditional musicians and artists, explore sense of place, and connect curricula and classroom with community. Several NEH workshops provide travel and free tuition. Some institutes have upcoming deadlines. Email Paddy Bowman at paddybowman@verizon.net with additions.
