The AFS Executive Board needs to have timely and accurate information about AFS members, their professional status, and their perspectives on the Society's present and future activities, so that AFS can do its best work toward meeting the goals of the Society.
Every five years AFS asks members to give information through a membership-wide survey, and the 2016 survey is now available securely online at the Survey Monkey web site.
In most cases, this year’s questions follow along the same lines as those in other member surveys, conducted in 2006 and 2011, and the information will be compared from the three sets of responses. In some instances, however, there are new questions, because the Society’s repertory of activities, and the opportunities and challenges are different today than they were five or ten years ago. The survey will take around 30 minutes to complete.
Please keep the following in mind:
1. The survey allows only one response per computer, so if there are multiple members in your household, please use different computers to submit your responses.
2. If you leave the survey before completing it, you will be able to return and finish it at a later time, but once you submit your responses you will not be able to return.
Your responses will be anonymous. Please send specific questions for the Board via AFS Membership Director Paulina Guerrero at email@example.com. You may also send questions or leave contact information in the final "Other Comments" question at the end of the survey.
