The Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) Journal encourages folklorists -- as well as archivists, field recorders, sound engineers, collectors, and audiophiles in general -- to keep the Journal in mind as you research topics in recorded sound. ARSC is "dedicated to the preservation and study of sound recordings, in all genres of music and speech, in all formats, and from all periods," and they welcome submissions to the Journal on topics that fall anywhere along that broad spectrum.

You can read submission guidelines here: http://www.arsc-audio.org/journalsubmissions.html
