Robert “Mack” McCormick (1930-2015)

Folklorist Robert “Mack” McCormick died at his home in Houston, Texas, on November 18, 2015. McCormick was best known for his research into the lives of numerous blues musicians including Robert Johnson, Leadbelly and Blind Lemon Jefferson. McCormick also worked with and recorded Lightnin’ Hopkins, Robert Shaw, Mance Lipscomb and others.
