Smithsonian Institution Seeks Director for Folkways Recordings

The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. The Director plans, develops, implements and manages the overall operation of SFR, which uses business enterprise as one of the primary means to meet its mission. The Director serves as a senior manager in the CFCH, occasionally as Acting Director; works closely with curators and directors across the Smithsonian in cooperative projects; and serves on various institutional committees. Applications will be accepted through Friday, October 2, 2015.
