Big Car Collaborative, an artist-led social practice/public art nonprofit organization and collective based in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Creative Placemaker in Residence for a one-year fellowship in partnership with the Indianapolis-based Reconnecting to Our Waterways (ROW) initiative (http://www.ourwaterways.org). The ROW Creative Placemaker will lead site-specific cultural programming along Indianapolis waterways and coordinate creative placemaking training for artists. The Creative Placemaker will also lead Big Car’s work at the Little Eagle Creek Waterway on the northwest side of Indianapolis, coordinating projects and events that engage area residents and visitors and create vibrancy in a struggling first-ring commercial area.
