Submitting an proposal for the AFS annual meeting isn't hard, but it does take preparation. The form is only available immediately after you register for the annual meeting, and it works best if you submit it in good time without leaving the page.

We recommend that you avoid potential difficulties by having all of your information assembled and ready to paste into the form before you sit down to register for the meeting.

See Instructions for Submitting an Online Proposal for checklists for every possible proposal type. Each checklist now includes a link to a pdf of the form in question, so that you can preview all the questions you should be prepared to address.

If you do run into trouble, don't worry, just contact us. AFS staff will be available during regular business hours throughout the proposal period. And don't forget FAQ/Annual Meeting for help with common problems.
