The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University (CAM) seeks applications for a full-time Curator of Folk Arts. Since 1991, the Castellani Art Museum has been home to the only permanent Folk Arts Program in Western New York. Through its research, documentation, exhibitions and educational programming, the CAM’s Folk Arts Program safeguards the region’s traditional arts for future generations, and places special emphasis on the arts and culture of communities that have historically been under-represented in museums.
